Linda Blake, Foreign Correspondent

Linda is a senior video journalist currently based in San Francisco, CA where she reports for WSJ's Page One section.
Previously she was a roving foreign correspondent regularly contributing to Voice of America, The Wall Street Journal and National Public Radio from India, Nepal, Hong Kong and East Africa.
Before her interational foray, she reported and produced for The Tavis Smiley Show.
Linda grew up with a wise-cracking, taxi driving father in the heart of San Francisco's Mission district. Her journalistic ambitions were apparent even at the tender age of 13 when her muckraking prompted then-mayoral candidate Willie Brown to label her a "terrorist." Her response? "No, sir, I'm not a terrorist. I'm a citizen."
Linda also has extensive commercial radio experience as the executive producer and co-host of Harrison on the Edge, a top-rated daily talk show on the Air America Radio Los Angeles affiliate.

Linda earned a degree from San Francisco's School of the Arts where she specialized in Vocal Performance. She also graduated magna cum laude from NYU with a B.A. in both journalism and psychology. While in college, she completed an honors thesis exploring effective multimedia learning which was published in the journal Computers in Human Behavior.
When she isn't busy rousing political earthquakes Linda enjoys singing and tap dancing.
